LIE
Directed by Lisa Jiang / 2013 / 15 minutes

Ying is an illegal immigrant struggling to make it in America. When she applies for a job in the fashion industry, it is
through naive hopes of gaining a work visa, and possibly making it big. However, being so used to hiding, she has spun a
web of lies that ultimately put her daughter, and her freedom, in danger.

Director Lisa Jiang created LIE as a Temple University senior thesis project. The film features Philadelphia’s Chinatown
and Center City.

SLASHED
Directed by Chad Schultz / 2012 / 9 minutes

Inspired by true events, SLASHED is a fictional crime drama about two neighbors who team up to catch a serial tire
slasher that’s been targeting their Northeast Philadelphia neighborhood.

Philadelphia-area native, Chad Schultz, shot on location in the Mayfair section of Northeast Philadelphia, just blocks
from where the real crimes were committed. The short was self-financed on a micro-budget, and represents the work of
numerous Greater Philadelphia cast, crew and production artists.
