VIRTUAL SUMMERFEST: JOHN LEWIS: GOOD TROUBLE

Dawn Porter | USA | English | 2020 | 96 MIN | PG

WHERE TO WATCH

The Philadelphia Film Society is deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Civil Rights Icon, Representative John Lewis. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family at this time, as we celebrate his life, his work, and the indelible mark he left on our country.

We are honored to be showing JOHN LEWIS: GOOD TROUBLE, which depicts Lewis 60-plus years of activism and action on issues including from civil rights and gun-control to health care and immigration, this powerful and inspiring doc is sure to be one of the best of the year and help celebrate the legacy of John Lewis.

“Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble.” – Rep. John Lewis
