This year, we’re making it easier than ever for PFS Members to take advantage of their membership benefits at the Festival. Here’s how it works:
MEMBERS DISCOUNT DIRECTIONS
Starting September 25, you will receive a few emails from our ticketing provider, TicketLeap, with the subject line “21st Philadelphia Film Festival & Philadelphia Film Society has offered you a discount.” To activate your discounts, click the link “CLICK HERE TO CLAIM YOUR DISCOUNT” in the body of the email. Your membership discounts will now be ready when you go to buy tickets during the member presale, which starts Friday September 28th at 9am EST.
MEMBERS BENEFIT REDEMPTION DIRECTIONS
Through TicketLeap, all of the membership benefits you’re entitled to will be linked to your email address. Member benefits vary by level:
When you go to purchase tickets, member discounts will not be deducted until you’ve entered your email address on file. Enter that email address at Checkout and click “CONTINUE”.

On the next page, you will see a thumbs-up icon that says “YOU HAVE AVAILABLE DISCOUNTS! APPLY ONE TO YOUR ORDER!”

Click here to see a drop-down list of your available discounts. These will vary depending on your membership level.
Click “APPLY” for the discount you wish to use, and proceed to enter your payment information.

PLEASE NOTE: because PFS members receive multiple benefits for the Festival, there will be multiple discount codes for you to claim, each in its own separate email from TicketLeap, and you MUST click the link in each one to claim ALL of your membership benefits. Once complete, all of your discounts will be available online and at the Box Office for the duration of the Festival.
Email tickets@filmadelphia.org with any questions, or call 267.908.4733.
BADGE REDEMPTION DIRECTIONS
If you have purchased a badge or receive them with your DIRECTOR, PRODUCER, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, LUMINARY, or VISIONARY membership, you must email a photo of yourself to tickets@filmadelphia.org at your earliest convenience. Once you have done so, badges can be picked up at the Prince Music Theater from October 8-17 between the hours of 12-6pm on weekdays and 12-4pm on Saturdays. Badges can also be picked up at the Opening Night film at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, October 18 prior to the film. During the festival, badges will be available at the Prince Music Theater.
6-PACK REDEMPTION DIRECTIONS
Anyone who buys a 6-Pack, or receives it for free with their BEST BOY/GIRL or SCREENWRITER membership, will receive an email from TicketLeap with the subject line “21st Philadelphia Film Festival & Philadelphia Film Society has offered you a discount.” Click the link “CLICK HERE TO CLAIM YOUR DISCOUNT” in the body of the email to activate it and… that’s it! Your 6-Pack is activated and tied to your email address on TicketLeap.
When you go to purchase tickets, your 6-Pack will not be applied until you’ve entered your email address on file. Enter that email address at Checkout and click “CONTINUE”.

On the next page, you will see a thumbs-up icon that says “YOU HAVE AVAILABLE DISCOUNTS! APPLY ONE TO YOUR ORDER!”

Click the thumbs-up. Your 6-Pack will appear, in addition to any other discounts you may have (PFS Members’ priced tickets, etc…). Select 6-Pack from your list of available discounts.
Click “APPLY” and the cost of up to six tickets will be deducted from your total.
PLEASE NOTE: The 6-Pack discount can only be applied if you have six (6) or fewer tickets in your shopping cart. Any more than six and you will get a red error message. If you wish to purchase seven (7) or more tickets, please do so in two separate transactions.
If you do not use all six of your free 6-Pack redemptions at once, don’t worry! The remaining discounts can always be applied to later purchases online OR at any Festival Box Office. Just let the Box Officer know you have 6-Pack tickets left and your email address associated with your account, and they can find out how many and apply those to your purchase.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: If you purchase(d) multiple 6-Packs, you will have multiple discount codes to claim, each in its own separate email from TicketLeap, and you MUST click the link in each one to activate all of your 6-Packs.
“PFF ON US” FREE TICKETING PROGRAM REDEMPTION DIRECTIONS
"PFF On Us" is the 21st Philadelphia Film Festival's Free Ticket Program, sponsored by the Wyncote Foundation, that offers up to eight (
complimentary tickets for STUDENT, GAFFER, BEST BOY/GIRL, SCREENWRITER, and DIRECTOR members and up to sixteen (16) complimentary tickets for PRODUCER, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, VISIONARY, and LUMINARY members to screenings of our American Independents category throughout the 11-day event. As a member, you are automatically registered to receive these tickets; however, we HIGHLY encourage you telling all your friends and family so that they can join you in all of the fun at the festival. Registration is required FOR NON-MEMBERS ONLY to receive free tickets for PFF On Us.
THERE ARE THREE WAYS FOR YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO REGISTER:
PFS Members will automatically receive an email from TicketLeap with the subject line “21st Philadelphia Film Festival & Philadelphia Film Society has offered you a discount.” Click the link “CLICK HERE TO CLAIM YOUR DISCOUNT” in the body of the email to activate it and… that’s it! Your complimentary “PFF On Us” tickets are activated and tied to your email address on TicketLeap.
The ONLY Films Available for Free in the “PFF On Us” Program are those in the American Independents category in the festival. They include:
The Comedy, Director Rick Alverson. USA, 2012.
Gayby, Director Jonathan Lisecki. USA, 2012.
Gimme the Loot, Director Adam Leon. USA, 2012.
Leave Me Like You Found Me, Director Adele Romanski. USA, 2012.
An Oversimplification of Her Beauty, Director Terence Nance. USA, 2012.
Simon Killer, Director Antonio Campos. USA, 2011.
Somebody Up There Likes Me, Director Bob Byington. USA, 2011.
PLEASE NOTE: You can only redeem up to two tickets PER SCREENING of a film in the “PFF On Us” program, so take advantage of the American Independents category by trying new films that you might otherwise not have seen.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: The “PFF On Us” tickets can ONLY be applied if you have eight (
or sixteen (16) fewer tickets, depending on your membership level, from the American Independents category in your shopping cart. If you have any other films from a category other than American Independents OR any more than your allotted number of complimentary “PFF On Us” tickets, you will get a red error message.
If you do not use all eight (
or sixteen (16) of your complimentary “PFF On Us” redemptions at once, don’t worry! The remaining discounts can always be applied to later purchases online OR at any Festival Box Office. Just let the Box Officer know you have “PFF On Us” tickets left and your email address associated with your account, and they can find out how many and apply those to your purchase.
PLEASE STILL ALSO NOTE… AND THIS IS THE LAST ONE I PROMISE: “PFF On Us” tickets will initially show up in your Checkout as $1,000 each, don’t worry! This silly ticket price is to dissuade people who do not read the instructions from purchasing tickets when they are supposed to be free through generous support of the Wyncote Foundation. Once you apply your discount associated with your email address to your account, they will show up as $0 and be complimentary.
NO WAIT, I LIED… YOU SHOULD REALLY NOTE: “PFF On Us” tickets are given on a first come, first served basis and even though you, as a member, receive up to eight (
or sixteen (16) complimentary tickets, once all of the tickets are distributed, we cannot give more seats than the capacity of the theater and you would need to stand in the RUSH line at the screening to try and secure seats. I HIGHLY recommend ordering your “PFF On Us” AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE WHEN THEY GO ON “SALE” ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28.
When tickets go on sale on Sept. 28 for PFS Members, you can find all of the films included in PFF On Us Free Ticketing by selecting “American Independents” under the CATEGORY drop-down menu on Festival Genius.
Once you have selected your films and added tickets to your shopping cart, proceed to Checkout. Remember, at this point each ticket will still show a $1,000 cost. Your complimentary tickets will not be applied until you’ve entered your email address on file. Enter that email address at Checkout and click “CONTINUE”.

On the next page, you will see a thumbs-up icon that says “YOU HAVE AVAILABLE DISCOUNTS! APPLY ONE TO YOUR ORDER!”
Click the thumbs-up to see a drop-down list of your available discounts (PFS Members’ priced tickets, etc…). These will vary depending on your membership level. Find “PFF ON US FREE TIX”.
Click “APPLY” and the cost of up to eight (
or sixteen (16) tickets will be deducted from your total.
