Filmadelphia Matching Mission: Putting Local Filmmakers on the Big Screen

PFS recently received a challenge grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation in the amount of $150,000. Funds will help provide equipment for the PFS Theater at the Roxy and a monthly screening series that will feature the work of local filmmakers. In order to receive funds, PFS must match the grant total of $150,000 in one year.

Now is the time to show your support and make a donation to the Filmadelphia Matching Mission. Our goal is to continue the legacy of great Philadelphia directors like Sidney Lumet (12 Angry Men, Dog Day Afternoon, Gloria), Lee Daniels (Shadowboxer, Precious, The Paperboy), M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Signs) and Randal Kleiser (Grease, The Blue Lagoon, Summer Lovers). Filmmakers put their heart, soul and life savings into their work and with your help we can bring their film to the big screen!

As always, PFS is humbled by your support. We look forward to celebrating with our contributors when we reach the top of our Filmadelphia Matching Mission thermometer.
