The Philadelphia Film Society is seeking submissions for the 19th Philadelphia Film Festival Trailer Competition. The winning trailer, chosen by a panel of PFS Staff and Board Members, will be screened before all 100+ films in the upcoming 10-day festival held October 14-24, 2010 and premiered at the 19th Philadelphia Film Festival Media Kick-Off Party. All applicants are encouraged to submit their work following the official contest rules and requirements listed below.
ENTRY PROCEDURES
Entries with application form must be submitted NO LATER THAN AUGUST 15th at 5pm (no exceptions) to the following address:

We are unable to return submissions under any circumstances. Please retain a copy for yourself.

COMPETITION RULES AND REQUIREMENTS
Submissions must be for a 15-30 second trailer. Anything longer in time will not be accepted.
All trailers will represent the Philadelphia Film Festival and Philadelphia Film Society and use of their logos must be included in all opening and closing credits.
Trailer submissions must be the original work of the applicant(s). Neither the competition nor its jurists investigates or attests to the authenticity of an applicant’s statement of authorship or rights.
The use of any trademarks (such as logos, symbols, or characters) will disqualify your video. Do not use any copyrighted material. Copyrighted material includes but is not limited to film clips, television clips, audio clips, video game clips, books, magazines, etc.
Applicants must accept, without reservation, the decisions rendered by the contest jurors as all decisions are final.
No substitutions or corrections may be made after the trailer has been submitted.
Submissions must also include a completed Application Form with all relevant release forms, or it will not be considered.
The winning entry will be notified by September 6th, 2010
