PHILADELPHIA FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES CONFIRMED GUESTS AND ADDITIONS TO THE 20th ANNIVERSARY SLATE

JONATHAN DEMME, PETER BERG, JOE FRAZIER AND KEVIN CLASH (aka ELMO) ARE INCLUDED AMONG THE MANY ACTORS, FILMMAKERS, AND SPECIAL GUESTS ATTENDING THE EVENT

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) October 14, 2011 – Each year, the Philadelphia Film Festival hosts a plethora of actors and filmmakers making extraordinary contributions to the world of cinema.   The Festival is excited to welcome a variety of guests, as well as to proudly announce new additions to the current program, including short films and the much anticipated Puss in Boots!

 PUSS IN BOOTS, Chris Miller, 2011, USA, 96 min (Dreamworks Animation)

Saturday, October 22nd; 10:30am at the Rave Theater

Long before he even met Shrek, the notorious fighter, lover and outlaw Puss in Boots becomes a hero when he sets off on an adventure with the tough and street smart Kitty Softpaws and the mastermind Humpty Dumpty to save his town. This is the true story of The Cat, The Myth, The Legend, The Boots.
