During the 21st Philadelphia Film Festival, we celebrated the 10-year anniversary of M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Signs’ at the Prince Theater with a Q&A with the director and WMMR’s ‘Preston & Steve’ morning show host/movie buff Steve Morrison after the film. Here are some pictures from the event to relive the great time had by all attended:
In addition to pictures, before the prolific filmmaker entered the theater to chat with Philadelphia, The Pretentious Film Majors and I managed to catch him on the red carpet for a little interview. Check out the video to find out his thoughts on the legacy of the movie, the film scene in Philly, what made him feel really old during a recent visit to Los Angeles, and what’s coming up next for him.
Though I have been quite critical of his films in the past, it was truly a delight to talk to M. Night for a bit. I’d say it was one of my most relaxed ever.
