It’s the Giving Season at PFS Venues!
We are proud to sponsor a food drive benefiting Philabundance at the Philadelphia Film Center (1412 Chestnut Street) on Saturday, December 17 at 3:00 PM. Come see George Seaton’s beloved Christmas classic MIRACLE ON 34th STREET on the biggest screen in Center City and get into the charitable spirit of the season by donating a canned good or non-perishable food item in lieu of paid admission. Philabundance donation bins will also be in the lobby of the Philadelphia Film Center the week leading up to the Food Drive screening. Tickets for this event are free, though a donation of a non-perishable food item is suggested. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
This year, PFS is expanding upon the annual Philabundance Food Drive, by hosting additional donation drives for Toys for Tots and a winter coat drive benefiting Broad Street Ministry.
The Philadelphia Film Center, PFS Bourse and PFS East will all be donation locations for Toys for Tots from December 8 – 15.
A Winter Coat Drive benefiting Broad Street Ministry and their Clothing Closet, will be taking place at the Philadelphia Film Center from December 9 – 11. Hats, gloves, and scarves are also welcome! Every coat donated earns one entry to win a FREE jacket of your choosing courtesy of The Recycled Planet Company! The raffle winner will be selected and notified via email on Monday, December 12th.
In addition, PFS is proud to partner with The Trevor Project during the limited series, Hogwarts Express, taking place December 26 through December 31 at the Film Center. HARRY POTTER actor Daniel Radcliffe is a longtime supporter of The Trevor Project whose mission is to provide lifesaving and life-affirming services to LGBTQ and trans youth.
