ALICE IN WONDERLAND

CLYDE GERONIMI, WILFRED JACKSON, HAMILTON LUSKE, JACK KINNEY | USA | 1951 | 75 MIN | G | ENGLISH

Though many adaptations of Lewis Carroll’s 19th- Century stories have come and gone over the years, none have cemented themselves in pop culture quite like Walt Disney’s animated musical ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Brimming with wonder and psychedelia, Alice showed the infinite worlds that animation could conjure with limitless imagination. One of animated filmdom’s original daydreamers, Alice can’t help but fade out during her sister’s boring lecture only to be awoken by a tardy rabbit scrambling through a mysterious hole in a tree. Her curiosity, and insatiable appetite, leads her to stumble into a colorful world of magical foods and a large assortment of zany characters. But when a royal flamingo croquet match goes wrong, Alice will have to stand trial in a kangaroo court for the ages.
