Adapted from the long-running jukebox musical, Mamma Mia! brings together an all-star cast and some of ABBA’s most beloved hits for a joyful romp set against the swoon-worthy vistas of the Greek isles. Bride-to-be Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) is determined to have the father she’s never met at her wedding, so she invites three potential candidates to the island resort operated by her free-spirited mom, Donna (Meryl Streep). What follows is a zany adventure full of romantic intrigue, uproarious comedy, and, of course, glitzy musical numbers.

Do you like trivia, nostalgia films, and drink? Then get your friends together to form an awesome Quizzo team (witty squad name required) and put your film and pop culture knowledge to the test at PFS’ monthly Quizzo & Movie!
Every First Thursday of the month, come out to the Philadelphia Film Center for a screening of a crowd-pleasing modern classic preceded by a few rounds Quizzo where all questions are about or inspired by that night’s movie. During the film, we will tally up the scores and reveal the winning team as the credits roll. The first-place team and runners-up will win prizes and bragging rights!
