Part of Green Screen: Philadelphia Environmental Film Festival
Though José Andrés is one of the most esteemed chefs in the world, the subject of this riveting documentary isn’t the chef’s many culinary achievements, but his groundbreaking humanitarian work. Andrés is the founder of World Central Kitchen, an aid organization that has delivered healthy meals to thousands of people in the wake of natural disasters and other emergencies. From Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria to Guatemala after the eruption of the Fuego volcano, We Feed People follows Andrés and his dedicated team as they go to great lengths to provide food and much-needed comfort in some of the hardest-hit sites of environmental catastrophes.
