THE PEGGY KING CHRISTMAS SHOW
Along with Tony Bennett, legendary songstress Peggy King is the last certifiable star of stage, screen, television, radio, nightclubs, the concert stage and recordings working today. Peggy is celebrating the release of her first new recording in 36 years, Peggy King and The All-Star Jazz Trio: Songs ala King.
The swinging All-Star Jazz Trio — pianist Andy Kahn, drummer Bruce Klauber, and bassist Bruce Kaminsky–has been entertaining audiences of all ages via their high-energy treatments of The Great American Songbook compositions and jazz standards.
Special guest vocalist Justin Hopkins, mentored by Peggy King, is one of the few artists who is as much at home with opera as he is with American popular song. Justin recently completed a 33-concert run as featured soloist with the Boston Pops Orchestra at Symphony Hall.
