THE BOY BEHIND THE DOOR

JUSTIN POWELL, DAVID CHARBONIER | USA | English | 2020 | 88 MIN

Two adolescent boys are kidnapped and brought to a strange house in the middle of nowhere. Fighting against all odds, they try to escape to freedom.

Warming up for a baseball game in a deserted field, best friends Bobby (Lonnie Chavis, THIS IS US) and Kevin (Ezra Dewey) are swiftly and suddenly abducted. Waking up alone in the trunk of a car, Bobby manages to break free, but finds he’s in front of a house in the middle of nowhere and Kevin is nowhere to be found. Rather than make a run for it, Bobby enters the foreboding house after hearing his friend’s cries for help. Inside the chilling and austere home, he finds a labyrinth of halls and creaky old doors, none of which seem to lead him to Kevin. Bobby’s ability to think on his feet is truly put to the test when he’s confronted with the looming figure who is responsible for their kidnapping. Attempting to outsmart their captor and find Kevin, Bobby discovers something far more sinister at play than he could have ever imagined. From directors David Charbonier and Justin Powell, THE BOY BEHIND THE DOOR is pulse pounding horror flick that touches twists the knife until the bitter end.

CAST: Lonnie Chavis, Ezra Dewey, Kristin Bauer van Straten, Scott Michael Foster
