MONSTER HOUSE
A group of kids face off against a malevolent house on Halloween in this rollicking, eerie kids’ classic executive produced by Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg.
12-year-old D.J. lives across the street from a dilapidated old house occupied by Mr. Nebbercracker (Steve Buscemi), a crotchety old man who scares off neighborhood children and angrily seizes any items (balls, bikes, etc.) that accidentally end up on his lawn. When some seriously weird incidents occur, D.J. and his best friend Chowder become convinced that the sinister house might have a life of its own. Soon they’re joined by spunky, pigtailed Jenny, and the trio begin investigating the story behind the possibly possessed home, leading them on an adventure that’s full of laughs and spooky thrills. In a year when traditional trick-or-treating may not be in the cards, MONSTER HOUSE summons up perfectly creepy Halloween entertainment that’s sure to keep parents and kids on the edges of their seats.
