NOT FOR NOTHING
It’s the holidays in Philadelphia, and with the unforgiving winter chill comes icy suspicion for the mourning Frankie (Carmine Yusko) when he learns of the awful death of his girlfriend Nicole (Alexa Albanese) from a fentanyl overdose. Her father’s bar was once a second home to Frankie, his brother Mikey (Mike Bash), and the rest of his raggedy crew, a place for cheap lagers and drunken cheers during Eagles games. But it has turned into a dangerous abode for revenge. As the two brothers comb the streets south of Washington for clues, they will uncover a perilous web of crime and corruption that will awaken family ties. As tensions mount, the iconic Passyunk Avenue will never be looked at the same way. Tim Dowlin and Frank Tartaglia’s unabashedly gabagool thriller pits two South Philly brothers, a mourning bar owner, and a hothead against the likes of Mark Webber’s steely and conflicted drug kingpin.
