Admission is on a first-come first-served basis.
Known for their glittery, homemade costumes and irreverent dance routines, the Calendar Girls are a sisterhood of women over the age of 50 who raise money for charity by dancing at events throughout Southwest Florida. Though their routines are fun and irreverent, the Calendar Girls are serious about what they do, putting hours of practice into each new number. Directors Maria Loohufvud and Love Martinsen highlight the stories of several women, whose stories of how they came to the team and what it means to them are unique but uniformly powerful. Movingly depicting the women’s camaraderie and hard-fought joie de vivre, CALENDAR GIRLS is a life-affirming testament to the importance of community and expression at any age.
Ticket does not guarantee admission after scheduled start time. Tickets for Festival screenings can be exchanged in person at the box office or via email at least two hours prior to the screening start time. Festival tickets are not eligible for refunds.
