PFF SpringFest: PRETTY PROBLEMS

KESTRIN PANTERA | USA | 2022 | 105 MIN | ENGLISH

Dissatisfied with their jobs and their relationship, married couple Lindsey (Britt Rentschler) and Jack (Michael Tennant) are in a definite rut. So when Lindsey is invited by her rich, charismatic new friend Cat (JJ Nolan) to spend the weekend at a lavish Sonoma estate, she jumps at the chance. Newly immersed in Cat’s circle of uber-wealthy friends, the couple is swept along on a bizarre, debauched series of misadventures. But will their marriage survive the chaotic weekend? Winner of the Narrative Spotlight Audience Award at this year’s South by Southwest Film Festival, PRETTY PROBLEMS is a witty, pointed look at all the things money can buy (and the things it can’t).

Cast: Britt Rentschler, Michael Tennant, JJ Nolan, Graham Outerbridge
