Rian Johnson followed up his breakthrough hit Brick with this equally audacious and stylish comedy, which stars Mark Ruffalo and Adrien Brody as con artist brothers Stephen and Bloom attempting to pull off their biggest job yet: nabbing the fortune of a lonely, eccentric heiress Penelope Stamp (Rachel Weisz). Posing as antiques smugglers, they involve the adventure-starved heiress in an elaborate con-within-a-con. But soon the plan gets even more complicated when Bloom begins to develop feelings for Penelope. Packed with exotic locales, witty banter, and ingenious twists, this globetrotting caper keeps the audience guessing until the very last minute.
