THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS
HENRY SELICK | USA | 1993 | 76 MIN | PG | ENGLISH
From the warped, whimsical mind of Tim Burton, this unclassifiable holiday mashup is the story of Jack Skellington, the king of Halloween Town. Weary of celebrating the same spooky festivities every year, Jack stumbles through a portal to the world of Christmas Town and becomes enchanted by this new holiday. Though well-intentioned, Jack’s scheme to kidnap Santa Claus and add his own spin on Christmas brings about unanticipated consequences for the citizens of both worlds.
Cast: Danny Elfman, Chris Sarandon, Catherine O’Hara
