Theater Closure Updates

In an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 virus, and to prioritize the health of our communities, Philadelphia Film Society has closed the Philadelphia Film Center and the PFS Roxy Theater and suspended all screenings and events through at least April 18, 2020.

We are regretfully cancelling the Philadelphia Film Festival SpringFest, previously scheduled for April 24 – 26 at the Philadelphia Film Center. While it will not be rescheduled, we will be looking at some special programming around new independent films once we have greater clarity on when we might be permitted to reopen, along with potential virtual screening opportunities in the interim.

All education and community outreach programming, including the Albert M. Greenfield Student Screening Series and Cinemaniacs after school program are cancelled until further notice.
