Every October, the Philadelphia Film Society proudly hosts the Philadelphia Film Festival (PFF), bringing together over 22,000 film enthusiasts and numerous talented filmmakers for eleven days of cinematic excellence.
Throughout the year, artistic team scouts global film festivals – from Sundance to Berlin, Cannes to Toronto – to curate a selection of the year’s most highly anticipated, critically acclaimed, and thought-provoking films. The Festival showcases these films alongside exclusive events featuring actors, directors, industry guests, VIP receptions, and more.
As a world-class film festival, PFF spotlights Philadelphia as a thriving hub for cinema. With over 100 films, the festival attracts industry professionals, panelists, and film enthusiasts from across the world. And by partnering with local organizations, PFS designs programs that break down barriers to film engagement, inviting new audiences into the film community.
