Thank you for joining us for PFF30! Select PFF30 titles are available online as well as at the Philadelphia Film Center, PFS Bourse Theater, and PFS Drive In at the Navy Yard.

Films will be released on Virtual Cinema daily at 10:00 AM, October 21 – October 29. Most films will be available through the October 31. Exceptions will be noted below and on Virtual Cinema. Patrons will have 48 hours to complete films after pressing play.

What is the URL for PFS Virtual Cinema?
Visit watch.filmadelphia.org and enjoy!
What is Shift72?
Shift72 is the platform that hosts the PFS Virtual Cinema. It’s a platform used by many top-tier Festival and cinemas, including TIFF. For the most part, however, we’ll refer to our Virtual Theater page as PFS Vitual Cinema, not Shift72 – just to be clearer.
Is this the same platform that was used for the SpringFest?
Yes!
Are films geoblocked?
All films are geolocked at least to the United States, meaning that they can only be viewed in the US.
When are films available on PFS Virtual Cinema?
Check out the schedule above to see when films will premiere on Virtual Cinema
How long will I have to complete films?
Once rented, you will have until the end of the Festival to start your film, except where otherwise noted; watch windows are 48 hours. This means that, once purchased, patrons will have until October 31 to press play. Once you hit play, you will have 48 hours to complete the film.

How much are virtual tickets?
$15 / $10 PFS Members. PFS Members should keep an eye on their inboxes for a promo code.
How do I rent a film?
Renting a film on PFS Virtual Cinema is easy! Just click the orange ‘Rent’ button on the film listing, and fill in your credit card information.
Please Note:
— If you are a badge holder, films to which you have access will be available in ‘My Library.’ Reference About ‘My List’ & ‘My Library’ for more information.
— You need an account in order to rent a film. If you don’t have an account yet, reference How to Create an Account for more information.
How do I find films that I have rented?
Films that you have rented can be easily found in ‘My Library’. Click here for more information: About ‘My List’ & ‘My Library’
As a badge holder, how to I find films that I should have access to?
If you are a badge holder, go to ‘My Library’ to see the films you have access to. The Film Society will have pre-loaded those films into your library in advance. Reference About ‘My List’ & ‘My Library’ for more information.
Please Note: Badge holders still must adhere to viewing periods. Once you press play, you will have a limited time to complete the film. Availability is also subject to capacity; we suggest prioritizing your virtual viewing.

MEMBER BENEFITS
Can I use my member free tickets on PFS Virtual Cinema?
No. Free member tickets are only usable in-theater for their designated events / showings at this time.
How to do I get my member discount on virtual tickets?
Members should keep an eye on their email for the PFF30 Member promo code. Be sure to enter the promo code during the checkout process to get your member discount.

ACCOUNTS
Do I have to create an account?
Yes. In order to watch films on PFS Virtual Cinema, you have to create an account.
Is this account the same as my PFS account?
No. This account is seperate for your regular PFS account.
How do I create an account?
There are two ways:
— If you are a badge holder, you will be sent an invitation to create an account.

How do I sign into my account?
—Visit watch.filmadelphia.org.
— In the upper right hand corner, click “Sign In.”
— Enter your email and password, then click “Submit.”
If you do have an account yet, please create one using the guides under “How do I create an account?”
How do I change / reset my password?

What do I do if I forget my Password?
—Visit watch.filmadelphia.org.
— In the upper right hand corner, click “Sign In.”
— Click “Forgotten your password?”
— On the next page, fill in the email address connected to your account, and click “Reset”
— You will receive a reset link in your email.

APPS & SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Can I enjoy PFS Virtual Cinema using an app?
Yes! We have an app on Apple TV. You can find it by searching ‘Philadelphia Film Society.’ Please note: you will need a PFS Virtual Cinema account to use the app.
We do not currently have apps for Roku or Amazon Firestick.
What are the system requirements for PFS Watch?
Watch on PCs running Windows 7+ and Intel-based Macs running macOS 10.12+. You can also watch on Android tablets and phones, and iPhones and iPads using the app. Last, but not least, you’ll need wifi (a broadband or fibre internet connection). PFS Watch will not work using dial-up or cellular data.
Can I use Chromecast?
Chromecast can be used on from your computer, but not from the mobile site. Full details regarding how to Chromecast can be found HERE.
Can I use AirPlay?
AirPlay can be used from your browser to your TV using an Apple device and AppleTV connected to your television. Full details regarding how to Airplay video and mirror your device’s screen can be found at HERE.
How can I watch from my TV?
You can enjoy PFS Virtual Cinema by connecting your computer and TV with an HDMI cable.
If you have an Apple TV, you can also use to enjoy SpringFest films on your TV, using the ‘Philadelphia Film Society’ app.
AirPlay and Chromecast are also options for watching films on your TV.
We do not currently have apps for Roku or Amazon Firestick.
