A reclusive vampire fighting her thirst for blood finds her carefully isolated life disrupted by unexpected visitors, forcing her to confront the violent nature she has spent decades resisting.
Eiko has one goal: stop drinking human blood. Secluded inside the family home she refuses to leave, the young vampire spends her nights fighting cravings, attempting to stomach ordinary food, and luring neighborhood cats to her doorstep when restraint inevitably fails. A late-night self-help guru offers an unlikely source of guidance, diagnosing her isolation as agoraphobia. This complicates Eiko’s search for a way to control both her hunger and her fear of the outside world. Her fragile routine begins to unravel when unexpected visitors push their way into her carefully contained existence. As relatives, a curious neighborhood girl, and a mysterious fellow vampire enter her orbit, Eiko is forced to confront the violence she has tried to bury and a past she would rather forget. Moving across decades and through moments of surreal disorientation, the film gradually turns inward, examining isolation, identity, and the difficulty of knowing yourself when your own identity feels unrecognizable. Director Andrew Sullivan and the many Philly creatives behind the project showcase a distinctive style and vision in this entry into vampire film canon. I Don’t Want to Drink Your Blood Anymore follows Eiko through the long process of reckoning with what she has done and whether she can live with what she has become.
