GOING CLUTCH: THE BIRTH OF URBAN AXE THROWING

SEAN MALVEY, DYLAN MALVEY | USA | 2019 | 40 MIN| PG-13

Axe throwing: What was once a rural pastime from Canada has begun to evolve into a world-wide sport. This documentary captures that evolution from the point of view of some of the original Canadian members of the sport as well as through the eyes of a group of Philadelphians who discovered the sport by chance and became part of a community that they never knew existed. Their unique journeys are chronicled through interlocking stories that result in a climatic ending at the National Axe Throwing Championship (“NATC”) tournament in Toronto.

The ticket to the first viewing at 8:00 PM includes entry to premiere party that will feature an open bar and a full food menu at Farmers Keep nearby!

Event time : 6:30-7:30

10 S 20th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103

We will be taking a short walk over to the theater after the premiere party!
