Márta (Natasa Stork) is a celebrated neurosurgeon with a sophisticated demeanor and piercing blue eyes. Having long since left her home in Hungary for a reputable position in America, she is surprised when she meets fellow doctor János (Viktor Bodó), and learns he is also from Budapest. Falling madly in love with him, Márta packs up her life and returns to Budapest, ready to start anew with János. But when Márta finally finds him, he insists they have never met. Incredulous, Márta is forced to wonder if she has fabricated their entire love affair. From there, she sets off on a sinuous and unexpected journey as she watches János, attempting to get close to him, all the while struggling to piece together what is actually real. Gorgeously filmed on 35MM, PREPARATIONS TO BE TOGETHER FOR AN UNKNOWN PERIOD OF TIME is a sharp, psychological noir drama from director Lili Horvát that will keep you guessing right up until the credits roll.

CAST: Natasa Stork, Viktor Bodó, Benett Vilmányi, Zsolt Nagy
