SHOAH

CLAUDE LANZMANN | FRANCE | 1985 | 566 MIN | NR | GERMAN, HEBREW, POLISH, YIDDISH, FRENCH, ENGLISH, GREEK, ITALIAN 

Devoid of archival footage, interviews with survivors and perpetrators of the genocide form nine hours of Claude Lanzmann’s gut-wrenching documentary portrait of the Holocaust’s brutality.


Honoring the filmmaker, Claude Lanzmann’s request, SHOAH will be presented in its entirety for a one day, special engagement at the PFS Bourse on Sunday, October 15. The film will be co-presented with Philadelphia Jewish Film and Media. The screening schedule is listed below:
