In the documentary series titled, WEIGHT OF DEATH, executive producer Anton Moore, and producers Matthew Orsini and Jaime Borras, will spotlight some of the most disturbing crimes that occurred in the Philadelphia region due to gun violence. The series begins in Philadelphia, with the hopes of spreading to other crime-infested cities where gun violence dominates our urban communities. As the tragedies unfold, we will go into the homes of the victims, and capture the horrific stories. Our invasive approach and tough questions will provide viewers with authenticity and emotionalism to try and help change the perspective of these urban societies. The conversations with the victims family give viewers a perspective of what it’s like to carry the weight of death!
Our footage will be discussion based, captured by: panelists, celebrities, support groups, city officials, funeral directors, inmates, surviving gun violence victims, trauma physicians, therapists and community members, to engage in the discourse of the cause and effect of gun violence, including the long term effect, and underlying issues of mental health, instability within the homes, environmental casualties, impact of violence in music and media, and the integrity of school zones.
