THE WRIGHT STUFF

Almost a decade after his first film, A FISTFUL OF FINGERS, Edgar Wright tapped into an emerging internet-savvy zeitgeist that would become beholden to all things meta with his second feature SHAUN OF THE DEAD. His knack for kinetic staging and editing was elevated by a deep pop culture referencing script that resonated with horror, action, and comedy fans alike. It would become a foundation for all his future works in the THREE FLAVOURS CORNETTO TRILOGY, itself a reference to Kieślowski’s staggering THREE COLOURS.
